An ancient dragon and its minions have returned, threatening the realm of men. You assume the role of the Lord Commander of the Storm Guard leading the order during difficult times. It is likely that their shapeshifting nature is a result of Curiosity's abilities. The Storm Guard is a challenging turn-based roguelike role-playing game inspired by the Night’s Watch in the Game of Thrones. They appear at several different time periods in the lore, always wearing different physical characteristics such as physical appearance, sex, and age.
To see these entries, refer to Memories (Codex) page. Additionally, each memory unlocks a new entry in the titular section of the codex. Upon implementation, Memories will introduce changes to how certain abilities perform in combat. In the lore, they act as Mother's guide, hence their moniker, while she is still young. Memories are remnants of the Mother's life, as well as enhancements acquired from slain enemies that can be equipped with the abilities of a Daughter. The Guide is a Chosen One bound to the Other of Curiosity.
